The perfectionist Khan has broken the records of SRK and Hrithik at the Indian box office with Dhoom:3 Aamir Khan’s Ghajini was the first Hindi film to cross the 100 crore mark. Then the perfectionist Khan broke the records when 3 Idiots crossed the 200 crore mark, and now it looks like the actor is all set to smash his previous records with Dhoom:3.
The third installment of popular Dhoom franchise starring Aamir, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra has already crossed the 100 crore mark in the first weekend. Yes, you got us right! What’s more, with the fantastic 3-day collections, Dhoom:3 has broken all records of Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express and Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3. Having crossed the 100 crore mark in three days, the film has become the fastest Rs 100 crore grosser in the domestic market.
On the day of release, Friday, the film collected close to Rs 36.22 crore. The second day got a poor response but the movie did a record collection when compared to other biggies like Chennai Express and Krrish 3. Then Dhoom:3 showed a big jump on the third day – when compared to its opening day collection, the movie witnessed 10% improvement.
The film has made around Rs 102 crore in total, and looks like the movie will surely reach the 300 crore mark according to various trade pundits. Will Dhoom:3 be able to cross the 300 crore mark?
