Salman Khan gets candid over Koffee with Karan

New- found friendship between superstar Salman Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar will mark the opening of the fourth edition of celebrity chat show Koffee with Karan , on Sunday.

Salman has never really been the best of friends with Karan and hasn't appeared on the show's previous installments. Karan's close proximity with Shah Rukh Khan was considered to be the reason for the coldness between the two.

Their relationship reportedly went for a toss on the sets of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai . However, they have become friends now and that's the reason Salman has agreed to be on the show and answered several questions, which he usually avoids.

Despite the much- hyped patch- up between him and Shah Rukh, Salman's answer cleared the air about their relationship.

"Shah Rukh passes by my house four to five times in a day; he could have just come, rung the doorbell and sorted out the issues. Instead, he comes to Koffee with Karan and talks about me," Salman said.

Though Salman shies away from talking about his exes, he did not mind revealing that the mere mention of his exes unnerves him.

"There are some I run away from and others I ignore. I want to be in a relationship but now I do not want to get serious," Salman said.

On a serious note, he did speak about his contemporary actors.

"There are fore leading actors who are more than competition for me - Aamir, Shah Rukh, Akshay and Hrithik. Among the younger generation - Ranbir, Ranveer, Imran and Arjun are cool," the star said.
